Two Men Arrested In St. Martinville Murder Case

After two weeks of investigation, St. Martinville Police have arrested two people for the October shooting death of Kendrick "Monkey" Jones.

Detectives have arrested and charged 22-year-old Darries Ledet and 24-year-old Kentrill Ledet with 2nd degree murder.

Both were booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Cetner.

Detectives say that Kendrick "Monkey" Jones was shot to death on Wednesday, October 19.

The shooting happened on Longfellow Street in St. Martinville.

Detectives say they interviewed many witnesses in connection with this case.
