Two Murder Suspects Arrested In St. Landry Parish

St. Landry Parish Detectives have arrested 34 year old Gene Allen Dunbar and 29 year old Jessica Eve Stelly on charges associated with the death of Lance Gordon. Another suspect in the case, 27 year old Stephan Paul Godeaux has an active warrant out for his arrest.

According to evidence uncovered by investigators it's alleged that Stelly prepared some sort of amphetamine cocktail and she and Gordon injected. Gordon had an adverse reaction and instead of calling 911 Stelly called Gene Dunbar and Stephan Paul Godeaux. Investigators say the trio brought Gordon back to his home and propped him on his couch where he later died. Gordon's body was discovered by family members on Saturday, April 18th.

Gene Dunbar was arrested and charged with negligent homicide and obstruction of justice. Jessica Stelly was arrested and charged with second degree murder and obstruction of justice. Stephan Godeaux's warrant is on charges of negligent homicide and obstruction of justice.
