Two NCAA Softball Super Regionals Begin On Thursday
NCAA Softball Super Regional play begins on Thursday, with two of the eight series' on the schedule.
In Knoxville, Tennessee, the #8-national seed Tennessee Volunteers play host to the 9th-seeded Florida St. Seminoles, while the #3-national seed Michigan Wolverines entertain the #14-seeded Georgia Bulldogs.
On Friday, three more series open up, including Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns, playing in their fourth-consecutive Super Regional, including their fifth in the last six years, and their sixth in the last eight years, when they travel to Auburn, Alabama to take on the Auburn Tigers, while Oklahoma travels to Alabama, and Oregon hosts North Carolina St.
Finally, on Saturday, the last three series get going, including Kentucky/Florida, LSU/Arizona, and Missouri/UCLA.
Each series is a best 2-of-3 format, with the eight winners advancing to the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City.
