Two People Face Up To Five Years In Prison For Allegedly Cheating At Lake Charles Casinos
44-year-old Long B. Nguyen and 41-year-old Thu T. Vo of Houston have been arrested by Louisiana State Police Gaming Troopers after they were caught allegedly cheating in separate incidents at two different Lake Charles area casinos.
Both situations happened very similarly. In each situation, Nguyen and Vo were playing Mini-Baccarat. The dealer would then wave off any additional bets and begin dealing the cards. That's when each man is accused of seeing the winning hand and illegally placing a $25 chip on the winning Dragon-7 bonus wager resulting in a $1000 payout for each man.
Each man faces cheating and swindling and have been booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center.
Each Nguyen and Vo face up to five years in prison, if convicted, and/or up to a $2,000 fine.
