Lafayette Police are looking to crack two robbery cases. In the first case, Tuesday afternoon police were called to a store on Macon Raod were a man says he was robbed at gunpoint.  The victim walked out of the store, lit up a cigarette, and was accosed by the suspect, whom he described as a black male, six feet tall, weighing about 170 pounds.  He was also wearing a blue and white checkered shirt with black pants.  If you have information you are asked to call CrimeStoppers at 232-TIPS.

The second robbery happened at about 5 o'clock this morning.  A victim was accosted on General Mouton.   The victim said he was walking to his car when the suspect, a black male, described as being in his late 20's or early 30's about 6- four and 240 pounds began walking towards him.  The suspect stole the victim's wallet along with his briefcase at gunpoint, and then walked away.  The suspect was also wearing a red hat, red shirt, black shorts and no shoes at the time of the crime.
