Two St. Martin Men Arrested In Meth Lab Bust

Two men from St. Martin Parish are busted for allegedly running a meth lab.

Major Ginny Higgins with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office says they got a complaint about a possible meth lab at a home off of Prairie Highway in Breaux Bridge. Higgins says narcotics agents went to check it out and confirmed that it was indeed a meth lab.

37-year-old John Montgomery of St. Martinville and 30-year-old Johnathan Chautin of Cecilia were booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on numerous drug charges.

John Montgomery faces the following charges:

Creation of a Clandestine Laboratory

Possession of Schedule I CDS

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
