The Scott Police Chief reports his officers were called out to a home in the 100 block of Rice Circle yesterday after the homeowner saw two women run across his property and go into his shed.

Officers found Victoria Acosta and 18-year-old Bailey Ludlow in the shed, and both were arrested on a variety of charges.

Police say they found a methamphetamine pipe, a bag containing methamphetamine residue, and a container with 21 assorted pain pills and no prescription.

They also found that 19-year-old Acosta had nine Hydrocodone pills in her pants pocket.

Acosta was charged with the following:

  • Simple Burglary
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Possession of Schedule 129 II
  • Possession of Legend Drugs

Ludlow was charged with the following:

  • Simple Burglary
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Possession of Legend Drugs

Both women were booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
