Two Women Robbed At Gunpoint At Iberia Parish Lounge

A masked bandit robbed two employees of Journey’s Lounge early this morning according to Iberia Parish Sheriff Louis Ackal.
Deputies were called out to the bar on highway 90 after two female employees say a man approached them with a gun right as they were closing up the lounge for the night.
The women say that the man had a t-shirt wrapped around most of his face and a bandana around the bottom of his face. The black male suspect robbed them at gunpoint, stealing their purses and cell phones.
The victims said they also noticed the suspect had a circular tattoo on his right forearm.
Detectives with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office are asking anyone with information to call them at 337-369-3711.
