Two-Year-Old Child Dead After Falling Out Of Acadia Parish Car

A two-year-old child in the front seat of his mother's car died after he fell out of the passenger's window.

This happened on Louisiana Highway 365 north of Louisiana Highway 1099 in Acadia Parish.

The mother, 32-year-old Amber Watson, was driving when the two-year-old, Mitchell Watson, fell out of the window.

While Mitchell was taken by helicopter to a Baton Rouge hospital for treatment, he died from the injuries that happened in the accident.

Both the mother and her son are from Church Point.

Troopers remind everyone that all children must be properly restrained in any vehicle and at all times.
