Typo Leads To Release Of Armed Robbery Inmate In Houma

I'm not a numbers guy by any stretch of the imagination, so I could definitely see myself making this mistake.

The Daily Comet reports that the defendant, Brent LeBouef,  was released June 17 after a booking officer mistakenly omitted a zero when typing his bond amount. The actual amount was $200, 000, but LeBouef was released on $20, 000 bond.

Thankfully, Lafource Parish Sheriff's deputies took LeBouef back into custody today.
