Tyrann Mathieu "Honey Badger"

According to an article from USA Today, the Honey Badger will not be taking what he wants as a member of the LSU Tigers football team this fall.

The All-American defensive back and return specialist has been dismissed for a violation of team policy says LSU Head Coach Les Miles in an announcement. According to an article from The Times Picayune, a source close to Mathieu says he was dismissed because he failed a drug test.

Mathieu's ability to shine on both defense and special teams propelled him into a fifth place finish in the Heisman voting last season. This happened despite him serving a one-game suspension last season for an undisclosed violation of team rules. According to media reports, Mathieu served that suspension after failing a drug test.

Miles says rules are rules, but the team will miss him a great deal.
