U.S. 90 To Be Reduced To 1 Lane Tonight

U.S. 90 will be reduced to one lane in the eastbound direction at the Billeaud Overpass between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. tonight. Crews will be performing bridge construction.

This is part of the Geaux South program, which is widening U.S. 90 to six lanes from Albertson's Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. An overpass along U.S. 90 above Albertson's Parkway is scheduled to also be completed as part of this program, to go along with a new railroad overpass and a modification of the adjacent frontage roads.

This work is slated to be done by summer 2018.
