WASHINGTON (AP) — The summit is off.

The White House has canceled next month's summit in Moscow between President Barack Obama and Vladimir Putin.

The White House has been disappointed with Russia's decision to grant asylum to American espionage suspect Edward Snowden, and the two countries also can't agree on how to respond to the civil war in Syria.
