U.S. Senator David Vitter will be spending some time in central and southwest Louisiana Wednesday, July 1 and Thursday, July 2.

Vitter plans to speak at the LSU AgCenter Rice Research Station's Annual Field Day at 10:30 tomorrow morning at the LSU Rice Research Station.

The station is located at 1373 Caffey Road in Rayne.

Also on Wednesday, Senator Vitter will tour the new Jennings City Hall with Mayor Terry Duhon at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

He follows that visit with a visit to the Louisiana Spirits LLC Distillery at 20909 South Frontage Road in Lacassine.

On Thursday July 2, Senator David Vitter will meet with the managers and tour the facility at CITGO at 4401 Highway 108 in Sulpher.

Later on Thursday, Vitter will speak at the Maneuver Enhancement Brigade Appreication Day in DeRidder.  The address is 415 Park Road.

Vitter will end his day by visiting the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame at 1:45 p.m. at 500 Front Street in Natchitoches.
