Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun baseball team had their scheduled matchup last night with South Alabama pushed back to today at 12:30 due to rain and lightning. Pre-game with Jay Walker will begin at 12:15. The broadcast will air on our sister station, News Talk 96.5 KPEL. You can also hear it on the KPEL website, kpel965.com, or on radio pup (our free mobile app, for more info on radio pup, click here).

One scenario that could potentially push back the start time for Ragin' Cajun baseball is the game before. Last night, the rain and lightning began when FAU and Troy were tied 1-1 in the top of the 9th. That game will resume from the "Tigue" at 11:00. If it goes into extra innings, and runs past noon, pre-game for the UL matchup with South Alabama would begin 15 minutes after the duration of FAU vs. Troy.

If the Cajuns win their matchup with South Alabama, their next game would be tomorrow at 12:30. If they lose, they will play FIU tonight at 7:30. In either scenario, that next matchup will be simulcast on ESPN1420 and News Talk 96.5 KPEL.

Ragin' Cajun softball from the Ann Arbor Super Regional will air as originally scheduled, right here on ESPN1420 and ESPN1420.com, as well as radio pup. Pre-game for the matchup with Michigan begins at 12:40, with a first pitch set for 1:00. Sun Belt Conference broadcaster of the Year Steve Peloquin has all the play-by-play for you.

UPDATE: Cajun baseball defeats South Alabama 9-2. Louisiana will play tomorrow at 12:30 against the winner of FIU vs. South Alabama. The game can be heard on our sister station, News Talk 96.5 KPEL.
