UL Baseball Hosts ULM In Sun Belt Opener

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun baseball team begins conference play on Friday night, when they play host to the ULM Warhawks, in the opening game of a three-game, weekend, Sun Belt Conference series, at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field.

Louisiana is off to a 13-2 start, while ULM will come into the series with an overall record of 8-9.

The Cajuns lead the all-time series, 66-52, but the series is tied, 12-12, since the Warhawks joined the Sun Belt Conference in 2007.

This weekend's starting pitching match-ups are below:

Friday: UL---LHP Ryan Wilson (1-1, 2.00) vs. ULM---RHP Carey Taylor (1-1, 3.26) Saturday: UL---RHP Austin Robicahaux (2-0, 2.25) vs. ULM---RHP Cale Wine (2-2, 2.33) Sunday: UL---LHP Cody Boutte (3-0, 5.59) vs. LHP Alex Dumaine (1-0, 2.40)

Game times are 6 pm on Friday night, 2:05 pm on Saturday afternoon, and 1 o'clock on Sunday afternoon.
