DJ Sanders, a freshman infielder for Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun softball team, has been selected to the 2015 USA Softball Junior Women's National Team.

A native of Columbus, Mississippi, Sanders was one of 17 players named to the team after a two-day selection camp in Irvine, Calif.

The USA Softball Junior Women's National Team will compete in the World Cup of Softball X in Southern California, June 29-July 5, as well as the International Softball Federation (ISF) Junior Women's World Championship, Aug. 9-15, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Sanders and the Ragin' Cajuns begin the 2015 season, Feb. 6-8, with the Louisiana Classic at Lamson Park. The Cajuns will take on North Carolina State at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6 in their season opener.
