UL Lafayette Police Warn Of Potential Scam

Police at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette are warning about a potential scam involving a trip to London.
Sergeant Billy Abrams with the University Police Department says they’ve been informed about a potential fundraising scam involving children’s books and the UL Symphony travelling to London for a performance.
Officials with the Symphony say they are doing a fundraiser, but their trip is to New York, and the fundraiser has nothing to do with children’s books.
The two people involved in the scam are a man and woman wearing regular clothes, Abrams says. If you have any contact with them, he says to contact police.
