Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun men's basketball team opens their 2012-2013 regular season schedule on Sunday afternoon, as coach Bob Marlin squad plays host to the Oakland Golden Grizzlies, in non-conference action at the Cajundome.

Louisiana, who begins their 100th season of basketball play, went 16-16 last year, and appeared in a post-season tournament for the first time since the 2002-2003 season, losing in the opening round of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament.

Oakland, who went 20-16 a season ago, made it into the third round of that same CollegeInsider.com Tournament. The Golden Grizzlies return four starters off that team, but lose the nation's leading scorer from a season ago, Reggie Hamilton, who averaged 26.1 points-per-game.

This is the first-ever meeting between the two programs.

Tip-off time is scheduled for 4 pm.

You can hear all the play-by-play action on Sports Radio ESPN 1420, and espn1420, beginning with the pre-game show at 3:30 pm.
