UL Names New School Of Architecture And Design Director

LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) — Tom Sammons has been named director of the School of Architecture and Design at University of Louisiana-Lafayette.

The Advocate reports Sammons has served as interim director since June 2012.

He said his goals as director involve expansion of the graduate school and online course options.

Sammons joined the university's faculty in 1994.
