Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun softball team shutout the ULM Warhawks, 6-0, on Sunday in Monroe, Louisiana, completing a three-game, weekend Sun Belt Conference sweep, and extended their season-long win streak to 22 games in their regular season finale.

For the second straight game, Louisiana scored four runs in the very first inning, plating four runs on four hits, with Shellie Landry responsible for two of those, with a two-run home run.

Brianna Cherry extended the Cajuns' lead to 5-0 in the second inning, with a solo homer, before UL added an insurance run in the top of the fifth inning, to wrap-up the scoring, and secure the six-run win.

Matte Haack led the way for Louisiana at the plate, going 4-for-4, with a run, and an RBI, while Landry finished with three RBI's.

Jordan Wallace (25-6) recorded the win, tossing a complete-game, two-hit shutout, while striking out 12, giving her 302 in the season.

It was the 16th-consecutive victory for Wallace in the circle.

Stephanie Routzon (11-15) suffered the loss for ULM.

With the win, the Cajuns complete their regular season with a record of 40-11, overall, and a Sun Belt Conference mark of 19-4, while the Warhawks slipped to 19-33, overall, and 3-20 in league play.

Louisiana begins Sun Belt Conference Tournament play on Wednesday, taking on FIU, at 3 pm.
