Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns softball dropped their second game of the 2014 NFCA Leadoff Classic in Clearwater, Florida on Saturday, falling 3-0 to the James Madison Dukes, in the completion of Friday's suspended game.

James Madison scored two runs in the top of the second inning off of Louisiana starter Victoria Brown, when Hannah Hayes singled with one out, moved to second on a ground ball off the bat of Sandy Clayton, and then scored on a two-out single by Taylor Newton, to make it 1-0.

Newton stole second, and then crossed the plate on two-out infield single by Nikki Prince, extending the lead to 2-0.

The game was halted in the fourth inning, due to rain, and resumed on Saturday.

The score stayed 2-0 until the seventh inning, when the Dukes added an insurance run, when Prince singled, stole second, and scored on a two-out single by pinch-hitter Catherine Clavine, making the score 3-0.

That was all Jailyn Ford needed, as the lefty blanked Louisiana, allowing only two hits, while striking out 11, to improve to 5-2 on the year.

Brown (0-1) suffered the loss for UL.

The Dukes wound up out-hitting the Cajuns, 7-2, and scored all three of their runs with two outs.

With the win, James Madion improved to 7-5, and 2-0 in the tournament, while Louisiana fell to 7-4-1, overall, and 1-1 in the tournament.

The Cajuns are scheduled to play two full games on Saturday, taking on Hofstra at 1:30 pm (cdt) and USF at 4 pm (cdt).
