UL Softball Team Remains Undefeated at 22-0

Another sweep for the Lady Ragin' Cajuns this weekend against the North Texas Mean Green. The women had a long day on Saturday in which both games in the double header ran into extra innings.

The Lady Ragin' Cajuns did manage to pull off wins in both games after the games stayed tied for an extra four innings in the first until the Cajuns managed to score one winning run. Then, the very next game had the Cajuns losing 4-2 at the bottom of the seventh, then a two run double by Nerissa Myers tied up the game and they would go on to win after another set of extra innings.

The Sunday game was a whole other animal after the Cajuns managed to take the final home with a score 11-4 and put the Mean Green away in Cajun style. This brings the Cajuns to a 22-0 record and ties them with the 2006 team's streak. KPEL and ESPN 1420 will host more games throughout the season and we remind you to listen with us.
