UL Softball Team Thinks Pink This Weekend!

Saturday is “Fight Like A Girl Cancer Awareness Day,” and the UL Ragin’ Cajun softball team is thinking pink!

They are encouraging fans to show their support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month by wearing pink to both of this weekend’s fall exhibition games at Lamson Park.

On Saturday, the Cajuns softball team will host LSU-Alexandria at noon. Prior to the game at 11:30, they will honor all cancer survivors during a ceremony on the field.

Additionally, the team will be selling “Fight Like A Girl” t-shirts in honor of family and friends who have battled cancer.

On Sunday, they will face Lamar at 2:00. The team is also sponsoring a canned goods food drive in conjunction with Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana. Canned good donations and/or monetary donations will be accepted at the gate.
