Tickets are now on sale for NCAA Regional action at Lamson Park, even though there's no guarantee that postseason softball play will even take place in Lafayette.

Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball season ticket holders have an opportunity to reserve their seats for any possible NCAA Regional games at Lamson Park, that would be held at the facility should the Ragin' Cajuns be selected as a host site.

Louisiana, who is currently 42-6 on the season, won their 4th-consecutive Sun Belt Conference regular season, including their 15th in the 17-year history of softball in the league, has hosted an NCAA Regional in each of the last three years.

The Cajuns, who are ranked 19th in the latest college softball RPI rankings, are considered a bubble team, in terms one being one of 16 host teams this season.

Louisiana is the top-seed in this week's Sun Belt Conference Tournament in Troy, Alabama.

Lamson Park has played host  to 11 NCAA Regionals in the past, along with one NCAA Super Regional.

The 2017 NCAA Softball Tournament regional round is scheduled for Friday-Sunday, May 19-21 at campus sites.

The NCAA Softball Tournament bracket, and all 16 regional host sites, will be revealed at 9 o'clock (CDT) this Sunday, during the NCAA Division I Softball Selection Show, which will be televised on ESPN2.

Louisiana softball season ticket holders should find an invoice on their Account Manager at RaginCajuns.com. Printed copies of the invoice were also mailed on Monday afternoon.
