Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun women's basketball team dropped a Sun Belt Conference home game on Saturday, falling to the Arkansas St. Red Wolves, 48-39, at the Cajundome.

Louisiana led by one point, 15-14, at halftime, but were then out-scored by Arkansas St., 34-24, in the second half, to clinch the nine-point win.

The Red Wolves out-shot the Cajuns from the field, 38%-28%, and also finished with a 41-34 rebound advantage.

Jane Morrill led Arkansas St., scoring 14 points, while Keke Veal paced Louisiana in a losing cause, with a game-high 16 points.

With the victory, The Red Wolves improved to 8-9 overall, and 5-3 in Sun Belt Conference play, while the Cajuns fell to 7-10 overall, and 1-7 in league play.
