The 2012-2013 season came to an end for Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team on Saturday, after falling to the WKU Lady Toppers, 61-57, in the quarterfinal round of the Sun Belt Conference Women's Basketball Tournament in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Louisiana led at the half, 30-26, before WKU outscored the Cajuns, 35-27, in the second half, to capture the four-point win.

The Lady Toppers out-shot the Cajuns from the field, 49%-30%, including a 50%-25% advantage in the second half.

Bianca McGee led WKU, with a team-high 20 points, while Keke Veal paced Louisiana in a losing cause, with a game-high 21 points.

With the victory, the Lady Toppers improve to 21-9 on the season, while Louisiana ends their season with an overall record of 10-21.
