UL Women Lose To Troy, 68-61

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun women's basketball team fell on the road in Sun Belt Conference action on Saturday, dropping a 68-61 decision to the Troy Trojans in a match-up played in Troy, Alabama.
The win by Troy snapped a ten-game losing streak, and extended Louisiana's current losing streak to nine games.
The Trojans led at the half, 33-28, and then outscored Louisiana, 35-33 in the second half, to capture the seven-point victory.
Troy out-shot Louisiana from the field, 49%-37%, including a 33%-15% advantage from beyond the three-point arc.
Joanna Harden led the Trojans in scoring with 18 points, while Keke Veal paced the Cajuns, scoring a game-high 19 points.
With the win, Troy improve to 4-17 overall, and 1-11 in Sun Belt Conference play, while Louisiana fell to 7-15 overall, and 1-12 in league play.
The Cajuns return to action on Sunday, February 10, when they host ULM.
