Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun women's basketball team returns to the hardwood on Wednesday night, when coach Garry Brodhead's squad travels to Mobile, Alabama to take on the South Alabama Jaguars in Sun Belt Conference action.

Louisiana, who has won five of their last six, including a 66-64 win over UT-Arlington last Saturday, is currently 9-5, overall, and 2-1 in Sun Belt Conference play.

South Alabama, who has dropped two-consecutive games, and four of their last six, currently stands at 4-10, overall, and 2-2 in league play.

The Cajuns are led by sophomore guards Keke Veal and Sylvana Okde, who are averaging 11.9 and 11.6 points-per-game, respectively, while the Jaguars are paced by senior guard Meghan Dunn, who is averaging 12.3 points a contest.

South Alabama leads the all-time series,34-10, including two victories over UL last year, winning 53-43 in Lafayette, and 53-39 in Mobile.

Tip-off time is schedule for 7:05 pm.

Louisiana will stay in Alabama and take on Troy the Troy Trojans on Saturday, before returning home to take on Georgia State on January 23.
