LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) — Three students from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette will compete in the Institute of Transportation Engineers' district tournament from March 30 to April 2 in Greensboro, Ga.

Graduate student and team captain Chuck LeBoeuf and seniors Leia Kagawa and Paige Bourguard will compete for a spot in the upcoming ITE Collegiate Traffic Bowl Grand Championship Aug. 10-13 in Seattle.

The Advocate reports they will compete against schools from across the South in a Jeopardy-style quiz game that will test their knowledge of traffic and transportation.

The group beat out teams from LSU and Mississippi State last month to earn their way into the district tournament.
