There have now been changes to the renovation plans for Fletcher Hall on the UL Lafayette campus.  Several folks who were critical of the plan said that the new look was "offesive".

University of Louisiana at Lafayette's Fletcher Hall houses the School of Architecture and Design and the Department of Visual Arts.  Architects working on a redesign of Fletcher have now released an updated version of the final plans for the renovation that they hope critics will approve.

Under the new design plan, Fletcher Hall will get another 20,000 square feet and the changes will help to fix multiple leaks that have meant lots of water damage in the last several decades.

The open atrium in the inside of the building will stay exactly that way.
