UL’s Football Coach Fired After Nine Seasons

The search is on for a new head football coach at UL.  The university's athletic director, David Walker, made the official announcement Monday that Ricky Bustle had been fired after nine seasons with the Ragin' Cajuns.  Despite eking out a 23-22 win over ULM on Saturday, Bustle had a 41-65 overall record, but a 31-33 won-loss record in Sun Belt play.  Walker says UL would pay Bustle 100-thousand-dollars to buyout the final year of his contract.
