Unclaimed Easy 5 Lottery Prize Set To Expire

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — A $203,543 LouisianaLottery Easy 5 jackpot won in May has yet to be claimed.

As of Friday no one has claimed the prize from the May 16, 2012, drawing. The winning ticket was bought at The Sunshine Truck and Casino Plaza on Highway 70 West in St. James. The numbers drawn were: 10, 16, 20, 27 and 34.

Winners of the lottery's draw-style games must claim their prize within 180 days of the drawing. The prize expires Nov. 12. The holder of the winning ticket has until 5 p.m. on that date to claim it. If no one does, lottery officials say the winnings are deposited into the lottery's unclaimed prize fund, which is returned to players in the form of increased payouts on scratch-off games and player promotions.
