Undocumented Alien Involved In Local Car Crash

27 year old Grosvin Ortiz Aguilar was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center Friday, February 21 on charges that include:

• No Driver's license with a crash
• Stop sign violation with a crash
• Hit and run
• Reckless driving

Officers responded to a crash at the intersection of Westgate Road and Eraste Landry in Scott after a car struck another car and then fled the scene. Investigation determined that Aguilar was driving the vehicle and fled because he is not a citizen and did not have proper documentation.
