MONROE, La. (AP) — A uniforms store has been ordered to close its doors for failing to pay more than $330,000 in delinquent sales taxes, interest, penalties and legal fees it owes the city and school board.

The News-Star reports (http://tnsne.ws/NywKIE ) state District Court Judge Carl Sharp signed an order last week requiring KMS Uniforms owner Krista Morgan to cease business by July 13.

Signs were posted on the company's doors Tuesday with the order to cease operations for indebtedness.

Taxation and Revenue Director Tim Lewis said efforts have been made since January 2010 to work with KMS Uniforms. Morgan told KNOE TV (http://bit.ly/Mwj3OV) that business has been slow and that it has been difficult to make ends meet.
