Update: Lafayette Crash Victim’s Name Released

In an update to a story we told you about on Friday, the name of the victim of the fatal accident early Friday morning has been released.

Our news partners at KATC report that the victim of the accident at the intersection of Evangeline Thruway and East Kaliste Saloom Friday morning was Travis Baker, 61 years old of Henagar, Alabama.

As reported earlier by KPEL, the man responsible for the crash, Casey Robertson (pictured), has been charged with vehicular homicide, OWI, driving under suspension, and disobeying a red signal light.
