Update To Crash In Vernon Parish

Yesterday KPEL told you about a major crash in Vernon parish between two 18-wheelers. Harold Durand ran a stop sign where collided with a another big rig being driven by Joseph Winford, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Durand was taken to Rapides Regional Medical and was pronounced dead there. One of the trucks was carrying molten sulphur, which didn't spill on to the roadway, and the other was carrying logs.
