The University of Louisiana at Lafayette has announced the school will remain shut down for the remainder of the day today, Friday, January 24, as frozen precipitation is still expected to fall through the afternoon hours today.

All UL Lafayette activities and operations will open back up tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 25, including the basketball games in the Cajundome.

The men’s team will play at 3 p.m., followed by the women’s game.

Residence halls have their full staffs reporting for duty including security personnel to service students who live on campus.

Where to find food today?  There are two options:

  • Guillory Dining Hall: lunch 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., dinner 4:30–6 p.m.
  • Café Fleur de Lis: 11 a.m.–7 p.m.

If you work for UL Lafayette and you are considered essential personnel. you need to contact your supervisor for more information about whether or not you need to report to work.

All South Louisiana Community College campuses will remain closed today because of continued inclement weather. Campuses will resume all normal operations and scheduled classes on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014.
