Widespread Delays Expected After United Airlines Computer Problems

Houston-based United Airlines is bracing for major delays today after early-morning computer issues grounded all U.S. flights.

Two flights scheduled from Lafayette Regional Airport to Houston and Denver were not directly affected by the outage.

Computer automation problems halted service from all of United's airport hubs in the United States. The problem has caused a ripple effect at airports across the country.
