US House Approves BP Recovery Money For La.

All it needs is the President's signature. The US House has approved legislation that would send millions of dollars in recovery money to Louisiana.

The money would come from fines imposed against BP for the 2010 Oil Spill. It's a result of the Clean Water Act.

The legislation says 80% of BP fines would go towards restoring the ecosystem, wildlife habitats, beaches and other economic harm that was caused by the disaster.
