UBS’s Mitzi Breaux Talks Holiday Blood Donation Promotions

Mitzi Breaux with United Blood Services joined Rob and Bernie on Acadiana's Morning News to discuss two upcoming blood donation drives.

Breaux first discussed the donation drive tying in to the release of Star Wars The Force Awakens, including the donor incentives being offered.

Donors who give blood on Wednesday, December 16th from 8 AM to 7 PM or Thursday, December 17th from 8 AM – 530 PM at the United Blood Services Donor Center located at 1503 Bertrand Drive in Lafayette receive a voucher for a free movie ticket from Fandango.com AND a $10 Amazon.com gift card! Donors will also be entered to win a BB8 droid!

Breaux then discussed the 'Tis' The Season To Pay It Forward In 3s blood drive, beginning on December 21

On Monday, 21st Tis The Season To Pay It Forward In 3s. Everyone knows when you donate you save 3 lives. When you donate December 21 - January 2, you're able to choose between The American Cancer or March of Dimes, and we send a $3 donation to that charity for every donation. Donors will also receive a cool, long sleeve navy t shirt while supplies last.
