Two men got into an argument Sunday afternoon, and witnesses told police that Joseph Romero hit the victim in his face with brass knuckles.

Scott Police arrested 26-year-old Joseph Romero after he told police he did hit the victim in the face giving the man a four inch long cut on his lip and face.

Police say Romero appeared to be on some type of narcotics.

The victim was knocked unconscious by the attack, and he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Romero was arrested on a charge of second degree battery.
