“Very Big” Oil And Gas Deposit Could Bring In Another Oil Boom

Geologists and oil and gas experts are saying Louisiana could be ready to experience another oil boom soon. A 2.7-million acre oil and gas deposit called the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale Area stretches across 21 parishes, including St. Landry and Evangeline Parishes. Louisiana Oil and Gas Association  President Don Briggs says, "it could be very big."
