Veterans Tom Thompson and Lloyd King joined 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' to invite all military veterans to contribute to the Veteran's History Project next weekend.  According to King,

The US Congress created the Veteran's History Project in 2000 to collect memories, accounts and documents of war veterans from WWI, WWII, The Korean Conflict, Vietnam and the Persian Gulf Wars, to preserve their stories for future generations.

Thompson said,

For each veteran out there, there is a story to be told not only to the present generation but to future generations about the consequences of war.  The toll that war takes on the general population as well as the individual soldier.
