Victoria’s Secret To The Rescue!

Too many times all we see and hear from Hollywood, television stars and beautiful people from magazines is glitz, indulgence and no substance.  Hurricane Sandy brought out the humanity in many including Victoria's Secret!

“Jersey Shore” star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi donated her fuzzy slippers and other warm clothing.  Ben Stiller also took time out to help storm victims as he was seen serving up pancakes, bacon and eggs to hungry New Yorkers at a shelter in Brooklyn on Friday.  Many more stars have pledged money to aid storm victims, including New Jersey native Chelsea Handler, who ponied up $100,000 to the Red Cross.

The folks from Victoria's Secret were setting up for their opulent annual fashion show which was going to be held at the New York Army National Guard’s 69th Infantry Regiment building when they powered up generators to light and heat the facility.  In addition Victoria's Secret used their fork lifts to lift and transport pallets of food donations.

Other "stars" are helping out in various ways with concerts and proceeds from various endeavors but it really is uplifting to see Victoria's Secret lending a helping hand.
