Video Of LSU’s Jeremy Hill Punching Man Released – (NSFW) VIDEO
Suspended LSU running back Jeremy Hill, who led the Tigers in rushing as a freshman last season, pleaded guilty on Friday to a misdemeanor charge of simple battery in connection with a bar fight in April.
The 21-year old Hill, who rushed for 775 yards, along with 12 touchdowns in 2012, entered the plea Friday in state district court in Baton Rouge.
Hill was on probation, following a January 2012 guilty plea to a misdemeanor stemming from his sexual relationship with a then-14-year-old girl at his alma mater, Redemptorist High School.
While Hill will not have to go to jail for the fight, he does face the possible revocation of the probation, due to that guilty plea from a year ago, in which he received a six-month suspended sentence.
According to East Baton Rouge District Attorney Hillar Moore, a hearing to decide whether or not that probation will be revoked likely would be set for August.
Video captured of Hill punching another man in the side of the head in the April bar fight, which took place outside of Reggie's Bar in Baton Rouge, was recently released.
