25 year old Arinskie Tryvon Orlandeze Jones of Ville Platte was sentenced today (Thursday) to 46 months in prison for his part in an armed robbery of a St. Landry Parish Truck stop casino. US District Judge Richard Haik also sentenced Jones to three years of supervised release and ordered to $2,100 in restitution.

Jones and two other Ville Platte men, Ronald James Doomes and Steven Dudley Nelson were indicted in October of 2012 on charges of robbing two truck stops in St. Landry parish. Jones was found guilty after a three day trial, Doomes was found guilty of armed robbery and one count of carrying a firearm during a robbery. Doomes was sentenced to 102 months in prison and five years supervised release. Nelson pleaded guilty to the same charges and was sentenced to 105 months in prison and five years supervised release.
