Ville Platte Company Gets “F” Rating From BBB

The Better Business Bureau of Acadiana reports that Ville Platte business, Custom Doors To Floors, currently has an "F" rating with the bureau because of failing to respond to a serious complaint.

BBB officials says that a customer complained that they paid a $4,000 deposit for custom doors that were never delivered.

The company is also accused of failing to a address a few other complaints over the last three years like delayed delivery or merchandise and damaged merchandise.

According the BBB a Hemphill, Texas customer ordered five custom doors from the company, paid the deposit, then he said he never got his doors.  He told the BBB they were ""giving me the run around about delivery" then tried to claim a subcontractor went bankrupt with his ( the door company owner's) money.

BBB officials say there were several factors that caused them to lower the rating for Custom Doors To Floors:

Nine complaints filed against business
Including one serious complaint
Failure to respond to two complaints filed against business
Three complaints filed against business that were not resolved
The business failed to resolve underlying causes of its pattern of complaints
