Ville Platte Man Supports Gambling By Stealing

26 year old Jeremy Morales of Ville Platte is locked up in the St. Landry Parish jail after being arrested on charges of felony theft and theft of firearms. Morales admitted to stealing six firearms and two compound bows to support his gambling habit. Morales who is homeless, was given a place to stay by a Good Samaritan who returned from offshore to find his belongings stolen by Morales. Bond for Morales has been set at $27,500.
