Vitter Confident General Electric Will Build Facility In New Orleans

Senator David Vitter feeling optimistic about more jobs coming to the state. Vitter says he expects General Electric to announce in the next few days that they will build a facility in New Orleans that will bring about 200 I-T jobs to the area.

Vitter says GE has been considering whether or not the New Orleans area can support these type of jobs.

Vitter says if the announcement does come, he says it'll make for a great Mardi Gras weekend.
